Dr. Amoashiy has over 30 years of experience in clinical neurology and brings outstanding professional credentials, including a very broad knowledge of general neurology and neuroimaging. He obtained his medical degree from Moldova State Medical University and a Ph.D. in Neurology from the Moscow Academy of Sciences. Dr. Amoashiy completed his residency in Neurology at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition, he is certified in Neuroimaging. His interests include general neurology, neuroimaging, celebrovascular disorders, demyelinating diseases, migraines and headaches. He is an assistant professor in clinical neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College and Albert Einstein Medical College.

 He is board certified by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry and completed his fellowship in

 Neurophysiology.

 His professional interests include dementia, strokes, spinal injuries, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, back and neck

 problems, chronic headaches, migraines, balance problems and memory issues.
